Ismaël Bennacer: The Rise of a Football Star

Ismaël Bennacer is a professional football player who currently plays as a midfielder for the Italian club AC Milan and the Algerian national team. Born in Arles, France on December 1, 1997, Bennacer began his youth career at AC Arles before moving to France’s biggest club, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).

After two years with PSG, Bennacer signed for Arsenal in 2015. However, he failed to make a first-team appearance for the Gunners and was loaned out to Tours in the French second division for the 2016-17 season. Bennacer’s performances at Tours caught the eye of Empoli, and he signed for the Italian club in August 2017.

Bennacer quickly established himself as a key player for Empoli, helping the team gain promotion to Serie A in his first season with the club. His performances in Serie A earned him a move to AC Milan in August 2019, and he has since become an important player for the Rossoneri.

Bennacer also represents Algeria at the international level, having switched his allegiance from France in 2016. He was a key player for Algeria in their victorious campaign at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, where he was named Player of the Tournament.

Known for his technical ability, vision, and passing range, Bennacer is widely regarded as one of the best midfielders in Serie A. His performances have also earned him comparisons to former AC Milan midfielder Andrea Pirlo.

Off the field, Bennacer is known for his philanthropy work, including donating a portion of his salary to a charity that supports children in his hometown of Arles.
